Nexus on Dei Verbum @ 60

I am proud to present an article that has just appeared in Nexus, a journal of the Hank Center at Loyola University, Chicago. The issue celebrates the sixtieth anniversary of Dei Verbum, the Vatican II Constitution on Divine Revelation.

Pope Francis was committed to furthering the Council’s emphasis upon the Word of God as a source of life for all believers. My article summarizes his contributions toward this end, and puts them into context as part of the ongoing reception of the Second Vatican Council.

The publication Nexus is billed as “Conversations on the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. All the articles are open-access. Here is the link to mine. You can navigate to the others from within the issue.
