The 77th annual Institute of Liturgical Studies will be held April 13–15, 2026, with the theme “The Feast of Creation: Liturgy as Creation Groans.” This year’s conference builds on an ecumenical dialogue initiated in Assisi, Italy, focusing on the intersection of liturgy, theology, and climate justice.
Participants will reflect on creation, incarnation, and sacramental life, while addressing the influence of petroleum culture on worship practices. The program includes plenary sessions, workshops, and more.
