On October 8, 2026 (3 days before the 64th anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council, for those keeping score), Dr. Bruce Morrill, SJ, will offer a lecture at Saint John’s University titled “What is Old about the ‘New Order’ of Mass.”
Hosted by the Godfrey Diekmann Center for Liturgy at Saint John’s School of Theology and Seminary, Dr. Morrill will review how liturgical elements from the ancient church were recovered in the Mass of Paul VI, preparing participants for lives of service.
Join us if you are in town! Registration link can be found here. The event begins at 5:30pm Central Time in Quad 264 on Saint John’s campus. A recording of the event will be made available.
