Saint Meinrad Archabbey’s Institute of Sacred Music is pleased to offer the next workshop in its program, The Sacred Music of St. Hildegard of Bingen. This in-person workshop will take place from Sunday, May 17-Friday May 22, 2026 in the peaceful setting of Saint Meinrad in southern Indiana (aka, “the Hill”).
Participants will enjoy a week learning the music and monastic theology of St. Hildegard, doctor of the Church, and applying her music within the contemporary liturgy. Chant scholars and performers leading the event include Dr. Alison Altstatt, Dr. Rosemary Heredos, and Sr. Jeana Visel OSB.
The week will conclude with a special Mass, celebrated at the historic German parish of St. Bonifiace in Fulda, Indiana. Mark your calendars for an exciting time, joyfully appropriate this Easter season!
