The Calvin Institute of Christian Worship is currently welcoming grant proposals for its Vital Worship, Vital Preaching grants, funded by the Lilly Endowment. The CICW will consider proposals on a variety of worship practices, but particularly invite proposals focused on universal design, cultural engagement, preaching, baptism, and the Lord’s Supper.
Grant applicants have two streams to consider: Grants for Teacher-Scholars, to support projects connecting worship with other disciplines, and Grants for Worshipping Communities, for projects which attend to communal worship and formation.
Grant applications are due April 25, 2026.
