In the off-chance you don’t have New Year’s Eve plans, you’re a young adult aged 18+, and are in the vicinity of Montreal, Canada, this year’s annual Rise Up conference looks to be a memorable one. The 4-day event, starting December 29th and lasting thru New Year’s Day, is packed with an exciting range of programming, including myriad workshop options, Holy Hours, worship/music programming, epic New Year’s Eve banquet/party, and a keynote speech from Archbishop of Québec, Cardinal Gérald Lacroix.
Registration is still open through tomorrow, December 27th.
And for those in or around Denver, CO, Fort Worth, TX or Columbus, OH, this year’s SEEK Conference (subtitled “To The Heights”) from Jan 1-5th, is also promising to be one for the history books. Featured speakers in Columbus will be Jeff Cavins, Fr. Pierre Toussaint, CFR, and Dr Scott Hahn, among others; in Denver, Megan Ferowich, JD Flynn and Fr. Mark-Mary Ames; in Fort Worth, Sr Miriam James Heidland, SOLT and Chris Stefanick.
One of the great things about SEEK’s conference is their SEEK:Replay, which is an online library storing ALL previous conference content — for free. A lot of great stuff in there offering an excellent way to spend those extra cold winter Sundays.
