As many know, the new translation of the rites of Christian Initiation comes into effect this Fall with the OCIA replacing the RCIA. Much more can and will be said about this as we get closer to the OCIA’s roll-out. For now, we would like to point to a helpful resource for those interested in the changes and also for those who are invested in catechumenal formation.
One helpful resource is Team Initiation. Originally founded as TeamRCIA by Nick Wagner and Diana Macalintal, this helpful resource is now going to be named Team Initiation as a result of the shift from the RCIA to the OCIA.
There are a lot of helpful resources on the website concerning the transition from the RCIA to the OCIA. They recently also did a June virtual speaker series called the Cornerstones of Formation that might be of interest to our readers. It includes four in-depth conversations with leading experts and trusted colleagues.
