The antiphon is taken directly from the 2nd Reading.
James 5:7
Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord.
and James 5:8
You too must be patient. Make your hearts firm,
because the coming of the Lord is at hand.
Psalm verses from Ps 85 and large extracts from Isaiah 35 complete the picture, with the verse tone superimposed on the antiphon.
