GOSPEL COMMUNION: 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time

October 16, 2022 : 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time

The antiphon is a free adaptation of the Communion Antiphon in the Roman Missal for this day:

Behold, the eyes of the Lord
are on those who fear him,
who hope in his merciful love,
to rescue their souls from death,
to keep them alive in famine.

from Psalm 33: 18-19. We can be confident that not only does the Lord feed us and keep us under his protection, but he watches over each one of us, always.

The Missal specifies extracts from Psalm 33 for the psalm; the Psallite version provides the whole of Psalm 33.

A demo recording will be found here.
