GOSPEL COMMUNION: 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time

October 2, 2022 : 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Today’s antiphon combines Luke 17:7 from the Gospel reading with Habbakuk 2:4 from the end of the 1st Reading, as a reminder that being fed (served) at the table of the Lord entails serving others, too, as well as acting with justice. The righteous will merit eternal life, a theme taken up in the psalm verses from Ps 112, which are given an additional mini-refrain emphasizing that eternal life comes to those who receive the Bread of Life.

A demo recording will be found here.
