Liturgy Alive! Composition Competition

The University of Notre Dame has announced the Liturgy Alive composition competition to foster creative new choral music for the Catholic Mass and Liturgy of the Hours. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Entries will be accepted starting at 8am EST on July 1st and ending at 11:59pm EST on January 2nd, 2023.

    Once again, be aware that clause 5d means that all entries automatically become in effect the intellectual property of the competition organizers, even if your composition is not awarded a prize. They irrevocably claim the right to do anything they wish with your name, location, image and work in perpetuity.

    I am really surprised that Notre Dame persists in this year after year. and that composers sign up to that (I assume) by entering the competition.
