GOSPEL COMMUNION: 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time

October 24 2021 : 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Today’s antiphon is once again taken directly from the Gospel reading, Mark 10:45-52:

“Take courage; get up, he is calling you.” (Mark 10:49)

and

Jesus told him, “Go your way; your faith has saved you.” (Mark 10:52)

Jesus is calling us, too, and his food that we receive gives us courage for the journey toward the kingdom.

The verses come from Psalm 20, one of whose verses is the source of one of the Communion antiphons in the Missal and Graduale

A demo recording from the recording Walk in My Ways will be found here.
