Good Friday Special Intention for the Health Pandemic

The decree from the Congregation for Divine Worship says that โ€œthe Bishops will see to it that there is a special intention for the sick, the death, for those who feel lost or dismayedโ€ in the Universal Prayer. Fr. Paul Turner kindly shared the prayer he wrote for his bishop and asked me to set it to music to match the other intentions in the missal. Here it is.

    Anthony,

Did you ever set the special intention you wrote for victims of clergy sexual abuse to the new tone? I would love to have the revised version.

I didn’t write such an intention, John. Sorry.
