The Vatican: Not Built in a Day

At the risk of becoming the Pray Tell Lego correspondent, I wanted to share a video a reader (not pictured in the video) sent me as a follow-up to my post on The World’s Smallest Priest.

In this video, you’ll see that a priest from the Diocese of Scranton, Fr. Bob Simon, has built a model of the Vatican in Lego blocks. It was (is?) displayed in the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. I kid you not. Check it out.

The Vatican in Lego Blocks

Full disclosure: I’ve known Fr. Simon for many years as a fine pastor and liturgist who has made many contributions to his diocese and the region. But a talent with Lego blocks?

Life is full of surprises.

I now await the Lego version of a Pontifical Liturgy, with congregation.

Congratulations, Bob!
