NPM President Search

The National Association of Pastoral Musiciansย (NPM) is seeking candidates for the position of president.

In the spirit of the Second Vatican Council, NPM fosters the art of musical liturgy.ย The President of NPM serves as ambassador, promoter, and spokesperson for the Association; advances the Associationโ€™s growth and influence; works with established bodies within NPM; and maintains collegial relationships with other structures in the Roman Catholic Church. The President will be expected to develop new initiatives for financial development.ย The successful candidate will be credible to the diverse membership of NPM, committed to the Associationโ€™s mission, and appreciative of the broad spectrum of musical abilities among those served by NPM. Candidate must be a committed Catholic.

    Oh, well, I guess linking an image automatically forces a comment into moderation.

    In my experience when I have hit the reply button, that seems to already count as a link, so if I add any other link regardless of its nature, it puts me into moderation for having more than one link.

    I have generally stopped using the reply button unless it is really necessary, e.g. it referes to a fairly long comment far back in the list of comments, and someone needs to read the whole comment to get the point. Instead I will simply add a quote by putting it in italics, sometimes I will list the person and/or item #, etc.

    Actually it would be nice if all internal links did not put us into moderation, then I might spend a lot of time connecting my comments to those of others.
