Salt of the Earth: A Christian Seasons Calendar

Here’s something we need more of: a calendar organized according to the church year, with good original Christian art. “Salt of the Earth: A Christian Seasons Calendar.” Put out by University Hill Congregation of the Unitedย Church of Canada. Uses the Revised Common Lectionary – if I’m not mistaken, virtually all the Gospel readings of the RVL match the Roman Catholic lectionary, and most of the other readings too.

Here’s a sample of the art: “Advent Starry Night” by Virginia Wieringa, inspired by van Gogh’s “Starry Night.”

See more of the art here.

Great gift idea! Order it here.

It is wonderful to see your website naming the Salt of the Earth: Christian Seasons calendar. It has been a labour of love with Uhillians for many years beginning with a simple black and white calendar for the children to learn about our shared Christian year to what it is today a beautiful offering to Christians around the world.
I hang the calendar at home and at work as a reminder of who I am and who I belong to. Blessings Lorraine
