CMAA Colloquium, June 25-July 1, Salt Lake City

Our friend and colleague Jeffrey Tucker at the Church Music Association of America tells us that there are still spots available at Sacred Music Colloquium XXII, which will be held at the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City, Utah, from June 25-July 1, 2012.

The colloquium this year offers opportunities both for the professional musicians as well as non-musicians who would like to know more about chant. The faculty includes Msgr. Andrew Wadsworth, the executive director of ICEL, Pray Tell‘s own Paul Ford, and accomplished musicians from across the USA and beyond.

Lots of really beautiful music-making, we’re sure, and lots of traditonal Catholic piety. This will be very interesting!

    Much appreciated, Fr. Ruff.
First one I have to miss in six years! Might you consider joining Paul this June?

Very grateful for this promotion! Thank you. There are so many reasons why this year is just crucial. And as this blog has often pointed out, chant is for everyone! All faiths invited too.
