The Irish Times today reported that members of the Catholic bishops\u2019 Commission for Worship, Pastoral Renewal and Faith Development met with the Association of Catholic Priests\u00a0to discuss the Missal translation. Five bishops, members of the Commission, attended the meeting\u00a0at Maynooth, at which\u00a0priests reported dissatisfaction with the Missal and asked that its implementation be suspended.<\/a><\/p>\n

Ireland’s bishops announced that they will issue a statement about the Missal “shortly.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
