Today, Erin McClellan from OCP Publications discusses what OCP is preparing.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocp.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">OCP<\/a> has a variety of resources to prepare congregations for the implementation of the new <em>Roman Missal<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New <em>Roman Missal<\/em> Resource page<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocp.org\/NewMassSettings\" target=\"_blank\">OCP.org\/NewMassSettings<\/a> is designed to serve as a planning guide for all things related to the third edition of the <em>Roman Missal<\/em>. Visitors to the page will find what they need conveniently located in one place: practical resources, Mass settings, catechetical articles related to the new translation, links to useful websites, frequently asked questions and more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mass Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After several years of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocp.org\/newmasssettings\/process\" target=\"_blank\">close collaboration<\/a> with both composers and customers, OCP is able to offer a wide variety of parish-tested Mass settings, available in print or digital editons.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocp.org\/newmasssettings\/newsettings\">New Settings<\/a> include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Mass of Christ the Savior<\/em> by Dan Schutte<\/li>\n<li><em>Mass of Renewal<\/em> by Curtis Stephan<\/li>\n<li><em>Mass of St. Paul the Apostle<\/em> by Christopher Walker<\/li>\n<li><em>Mass of Resurrection<\/em> by Randall DeBruyn<\/li>\n<li><em>Misa Santa Cecilia\/Mass of St. Cecilia<\/em> by Estela Garc\u00eda-L\u00f3pez &amp; Rodolfo L\u00f3pez<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocp.org\/newmasssettings\/revisedsettings\">Revised Settings<\/a> include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> <em>Celtic Mass<\/em> by Christopher Walker<\/li>\n<li><em>Heritage Mass<\/em> by Owen Alstott<\/li>\n<li><em>Mass of Glory<\/em> by Ken Canedo and Bob Hurd<\/li>\n<li><em>Misa del Pueblo Inmigrante<\/em> by Bob Hurd (bilingual)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>OCP has published several additional Mass settings, available exclusively online. These digital-editions bring composer manuscripts straight to parish musicians, allowing them to test out and pick the best setting(s) for their assemblies and ensembles from the convenience of their computer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resources for the Assembly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocp.org\/newmasssettings\/supplements\" target=\"_blank\">Revised Order of Mass with Supplemental Mass Settings<\/a>: This assembly supplement contains texts, prayers and responses for the revised Order of Mass\u2014including the official English-language ICEL chant settings\u2014along with lyrics and melody lines to the five new Mass settings and four revised settings above.\u00a0 There is also a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocp.org\/newmassettings\/supplements\" target=\"_blank\">CD<\/a> available, with full recordings of all the five new mass settings and all the updated sections of the four revised settings.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocp.org\/newmasssettings\/freeassemblydownloads\">FREE assembly downloads<\/a>: For a limited time (until November 26, 2011), OCP is offering FREE assembly edition downloads of all new and revised Mass settings to help congregations learn and sing the new translation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Catechetical support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Today\u2019s Liturgy<\/span>: OCP is publishing insightful catechetical pieces in each issue of the quarterly magazine <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocp.org\/tl\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Today&#8217;s Liturgy<\/em><\/a> magazine that address the new translation.
