Deus, \u201cqui omnes homines vult salvos fieri et ad agnitionem veritatis venire\u201d (1Tim 2,4), \u201cmultifariam multisque modis olim loquens patribus in prophetis\u201d (Hebr 1,1), ubi venit plenitudo temporis, misit Filium suum, Verbum carnem factum, Spiritu Sancto unctum, ad evangelizandum pauperibus, ad sanandos contritos corde (8), \u201cmedicum carnalem et spiritualem\u201d (9), Mediatorem Dei et hominum (10). Esta obra de redenci\u00f3n humana y de la perfecta glorificaci\u00f3n de Dios, preparada por las maravillas que Dios obr\u00f3 en el pueblo de la Antigua Alianza, Cristo la realiz\u00f3 principalmente por el misterio pascual de su bienaventurada pasi\u00f3n. Resurrecci\u00f3n de entre los muertos y gloriosa Ascensi\u00f3n. Por este misterio, \u201ccon su Muerte destruy\u00f3 nuestra muerte y con su Resurrecci\u00f3n restaur\u00f3 nuestra vida. Pues del costado de Cristo dormido en la cruz naci\u00f3 el sacramento admirable de la Iglesia entera\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los art\u00edculos 5 a 13 ofrecen una consideraci\u00f3n teol\u00f3gica general sobre la naturaleza de la liturgia y su eficacia (5-7 [10]) y su importancia en la vida de la Iglesia (8-13). El art\u00edculo 5 anuncia la centralidad de Cristo en la historia de la salvaci\u00f3n, prefigurada en la historia y el ministerio prof\u00e9tico del pueblo jud\u00edo y continuada por la Iglesia. Citar\u00e9 aqu\u00ed el comentario de Cyprian Vagaggini sobre un concepto teol\u00f3gico central en el art\u00edculo 5: el misterio pascual; como perito que trabaj\u00f3 en el documento, sus reflexiones son, a mi parecer, especialmente valiosas para intentar determinar lo que los Padres Conciliares pretend\u00edan:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPara comprender lo que significa este misterio pascual, deben considerarse conjuntamente los siguientes aspectos, que constituyen el \u00fanico proceso de salvaci\u00f3n que Dios quiso en el orden hist\u00f3rico: 1) Cristo, al asumir libremente la pasi\u00f3n y la muerte queridas por su Padre, expi\u00f3 nuestros pecados, mereciendo que la vida divina nos fuera comunicada. 2) Al mismo tiempo, mereci\u00f3 para su propia naturaleza humana, mediante su glorificaci\u00f3n, vencer en s\u00ed mismo la muerte y la condici\u00f3n de siervo humillado que hab\u00eda asumido voluntariamente en la Encarnaci\u00f3n como consecuencia del pecado. Desde entonces, en esa misma naturaleza humana (incluido su cuerpo), solo \u00c9l pod\u00eda comunicar a los dem\u00e1s la vida divina de la que pose\u00eda la plenitud. De hecho, ya lo hab\u00eda hecho antes en su vida mortal, pero en la forma de siervo y en vista de su futura pasi\u00f3n y muerte. 3) Por lo tanto, desde su resurrecci\u00f3n en adelante, la naturaleza humana de Cristo glorificado, incluido su cuerpo, como instrumento de la Divinidad en la posesi\u00f3n perfecta y el pleno ejercicio glorioso de sus derechos, comunica sin cesar la vida divina al mundo.
