Por eso cree que le corresponde de un modo particular proveer a la reforma y al fomento de la Liturgia.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Como parte de los cuatro primeros art\u00edculos preliminares de la Constituci\u00f3n, el Concilio Sacrosanto (CS) 1 aborda dos temas. Fundamentalmente (y esto es m\u00e1s claro en lat\u00edn que en ingl\u00e9s y en espa\u00f1ol), el Concilio declara que considera que existe una raz\u00f3n particular para emprender la restauraci\u00f3n\/renovaci\u00f3n (<em>instaurandam<\/em>) y el fomento\/promoci\u00f3n (<em>fovendam<\/em>) de la Liturgia. El art\u00edculo especifica esta raz\u00f3n de cuatro maneras, dos de las cuales se refieren a cuestiones eclesiales \u201cinternas\u201d (<em>ad intra<\/em>): 1) fomentar lo que contribuya a incrementar la vida cristiana entre los fieles d\u00eda a d\u00eda; y 2) adaptar aquellas instituciones cuyos cambios se han vuelto perjudiciales para las necesidades de nuestra \u00e9poca. Las otras dos maneras se refieren a cuestiones eclesiales \u201cexternas\u201d (<em>ad extra<\/em>): 3) fomentar todo aquello que pueda conducir a la uni\u00f3n de todos los creyentes en Cristo; y 4) fortalecer lo que pueda llevar a convocar a todos al seno de la Iglesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Creo que los Padres Conciliares quisieron comunicar dos cosas fundamentales en este art\u00edculo: las cuestiones eclesiales&nbsp;<em>ad intra<\/em>&nbsp;y&nbsp;<em>ad extra<\/em>&nbsp;constituyen la agenda inicial para la labor del Concilio. Estos objetivos est\u00e1n profundamente orientados a la Iglesia; no surgen del deseo de definir nuevos dogmas ni de combatir herej\u00edas particulares. M\u00e1s bien, buscan renovar la vida de la Iglesia en un momento particular de su historia y reorientar su misi\u00f3n de manera ecum\u00e9nica y evangelizadora.
