His work is to be found in major Catholic hymnals across the English-speaking world.&nbsp;A former president of the international liturgical music study group&nbsp;<em>Universa Laus<\/em>, Paul was responsible for the introduction of the music of Taiz\u00e9 into the British Isles in the 1970s.
