The Jubilee Year 2025, themed &#8220;Pilgrims of Hope,&#8221; will commence on December 24, 2024, with the opening of the Holy Door at St. Peter&#8217;s Basilica and conclude on January 6, 2026, the Feast of Epiphany, with its closing. This ritual symbolizes the pathway to forgiveness and new beginnings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pope Francis invites believers to undertake pilgrimages, seek God\u2019s mercy, and engage in acts of charity and environmental stewardship. Catholics are encouraged to participate in the sacraments as a means of drawing closer to Christ. In addition, the Jubilee calls us to confront global injustice and foster unity with the marginalized. Building on <em>Laudato Si&#8217;<\/em>, this Jubilee emphasizes an ecological conversion, urging the faithful to respect creation and commit to sustainable living.
