There is a new development in the long-running dispute over the celebration of the Mass in the Syro-Malabar Church. According to OSV News<\/a>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The church based in southern Kerala state has asked all defiant priests in the Ernakulam-Angamaly Archdiocese to follow the synod-approved (or \u201cuniform\u201d) Mass, in which the celebrant faces the altar during the Eucharist, on or before July 4 or face expulsion.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
