On Sunday 5 November 2023 at 6pm EST (USA) (Monday 6 November 2023, 10am AEDT) the ACU Centre for Liturgy is delighted to host Professor Teresa Berger for a public lecture on the topic: \u201cLiturgy\u2019s Imagined Futures: Beyond Vatican II\u2019s Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Lecture description: Taking as a starting point the upcoming 60th anniversary of the promulgation of the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy on 4 December 1963, this lecture asks about the possible futures of Catholic liturgy beyond the vision of Sacrosanctum Concilium. In particular, it will probe ways in which liturgical life into the 21st century will be \u2013 and will have to be \u2013 different from what both the Council and the postconciliar liturgical reforms were able to imagine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
