The antiphon is a free adaptation of the Communion Antiphon in the Roman Missal for this day:<\/span><\/p>\n

Behold, the eyes of the Lord
\nare on those who fear him,
\nwho hope in his merciful love,
\nto rescue their souls from death,
\nto keep them alive in famine.<\/p>\n

from Psalm 33: 18-19. We can be confident that not only does the Lord feed us and keep us under his protection, but he watches over each one of us, always.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Missal specifies extracts from Psalm 33 for the psalm; the <\/span>Psallite<\/span><\/i> version provides the whole of Psalm 33.<\/span><\/p>\n
