November 7 2021 : 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time<\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Missal and <\/span>Graduale<\/span><\/i> both have the antiphon<\/span><\/p>\n

The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.
\nFresh and green are the pastures where he gives me repose,
\nnear restful waters he leads me. (Ps 23\/22: 1-2)<\/p>\n

and both specify verses from the same psalm. Today\u2019s readings, with the story of the widow and Elijah and Jesus noticing the poor widow\u2019s small coins are recalled in the psalmist\u2019s words \u201cyou give me repose\u2026 to revive my drooping spirit\u201d and \u201cyou have prepared a banquet for me\u2026 my head you have anointed with oil\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the Communion procession, we recognize that with the Lord as our shepherd, there is indeed nothing we shall want.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
