While some successful innovations have emerged during this\u00a0period, some problematic liturgical practices have also been uncovered which indicate that further work is\u00a0still needed in many places to implement Vatican II\u2019s liturgical reforms fully. Kevin Irwin\u2019s analysis of the\u00a0current situation will highlight a positive path forward.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The ACU Centre for Liturgy is offering this public lecture via a live virtual platform to connect those<\/div>\n<div>interested in liturgy to the worldwide scholarly conversation and to make the lecture available to an\u00a0international audience.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Monsignor Kevin W. Irwin is a priest of the Archdiocese of New York. A member of The Catholic University\u00a0of America (CUA) Theology Faculty for more than 30 years, Msgr Irwin held the Walter J. Schmitz Chair of\u00a0Liturgical Studies from 2000- 2015 and was the Dean of the School of Theology and Religious Studies from\u00a02005-2011.\u00a0Currently Ordinary Research Professor at CUA, Msgr Irwin is the author of more than 20 books and 70\u00a0journal articles.
