Blessed are the absent
\nwho empower us
\nto give witness upon their return.<\/p>\n

Blessed are those unafraid
\nto enter the doubter\u2019s debacle,
\nexpressing what the timid fear to. <\/p>\n

Blessed are the troublemakers,
\nwho beckon a Divine greeting of
\n\u201cPeace!\u201d
\ninto our midst.<\/p>\n

Blessed are the ones
\nbrave enough to have
\ntheir hearts and minds opened;
\nthey show us the path of conversion.<\/p>\n

Blessed are the voices
\nthat cry out with joy
\nat newfound insight:
\n\u201cMy Lord and My God!\u201d<\/p>\n

Blessed is the lineage of
\n Insolent Abraham
\n Unbelieving Sarah
\n Deceptive Rebekah
\n Trickster Jacob
\n Evasive Moses
\n Murderous David
\n Questioning Mary
\n Denying Peter
\nancestors allowed to move on
\nfrom their weak or worst
\nhuman moments.<\/p>\n

Blessed are those who
\nbehold the nail prints,
\npenetrate those marks,
\nplunge their hand into the water-blood font;
\nthese have revealed the entrance
\ninto the Body of Christ\u2014
\na wounded place.<\/p>\n

Blessed are those wounds,
\nstill present,
\nnot healed but glorified;
\nBlessed are those wounds
\nstill present
\nthat heal and glorify.<\/p>\n

Blessed are you, Believing Thomas,
\nin whom we often see our twin:
