The analogy of all gathering at the Table of the Lord\nscarcely needs pointing out, though it is good to reminded that the last shall\nbe first and the first last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nantiphon melody is the first half of Arthur Sullivan\u2019s 19th-century adaptation (NOEL)\nof an old English folk melody (a variant of \u201cDives and Lazarus\u201d) that is used\nin the British Isles and Commonwealth countries for the carol \u201cIt came upon the\nmidnight clear\u201d.
