Apart from rather legendary traditions, the Church does not know much about each of the twelve apostles. So it is no surprise that several chants were selected as \u201csignatures\u201d for apostles\u2019 feast days, as long as there was no reason to select special chants for single apostles about whom we know more details (such as Peter and Paul<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is why Mihi autem<\/em> is repeated some weeks after we sang it on St. Thomas\u2019 day<\/a> and on St. James\u2019 day<\/a>, so I invite you to have a look at those parts of the INTROITUS series again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
