\u201cGod in his\nsacred place: God, who makes live harmoniously together in the house: He will\ngive power and strength to his people.\u201d (Ps 68(67):6.7.36)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where does God\nlive? There are many different biblical and theological answers to this\nquestion. When we praise the \u201csacred place\u201d in this introit, we should\nprimarily refer to Matt 18:20 and Sacrosanctum\nConcilium<\/em> 7: Our liturgical gathering itself is a mode of divine presence\nin the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe that is\nthe reason why the composer gave the word inhabitare<\/em>\nits special shape: Understanding God\u2019s presence among us properly is uplifting\nand dignifying, and at the same time implicates great responsibility.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
