(opens in a new tab)\">Click here to listen to an audio recording of the chant.<\/a><em><br>Sung by Liborius Lumma, Innsbruck (Austria).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the only\nintroit in the Paschal Triduum: the Good Friday liturgy and the Easter Vigil\nbegin in different manners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And indeed we\ncan understand <em>Nos autem<\/em> as the\nheadline or the key to the entire Easter celebration: The text does not mention\nthe events of Holy Thursday themselves; instead it gives a clear statement on\neverything to come: Cross, resurrection, life, salvation. The Triduum in its\nentirety is celebrated in the perspective of resurrection. We celebrate our own\nsalvation <em>(resurrectio nostra)<\/em> in all\nof its aspects as narrated in the Bible.
