The Conference began publishing book, producing a journal called <em>Liturgy,<\/em> and another called <em>Homily Service,<\/em> for which Sloyan served as editor. The Council merged with the inter-Lutheran Society for Worship, Music and the Arts in 1979, and <a href=\"http:\/\/liturgicalconference.blogspot.com\/\">according to its website<\/a>\u00a0it \u201cnow includes members of the United Methodist, Reformed, Lutheran, evangelical and Roman Catholic churches.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sloyan\u2019s older brother is well-known theology Fr. Gerard Sloyan, and two of her older sisters, now deceased, were both nuns.<\/p>\n<p>Among her publications are <em>Parishes and Families: A Model for Christian Formation Through Liturgy, Children&#8217;s Liturgies, Touchstones for Liturgical Ministers,<\/em> and <em>Death: A Sourcebook about Christian Death<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The funeral Mass for Sloyan is being held today at Our Lady of Mercy in Potomac, Maryland.
