{"id":33130,"date":"2016-06-07T06:44:28","date_gmt":"2016-06-07T11:44:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/praytellblog.com\/?p=33130"},"modified":"2016-06-07T06:45:11","modified_gmt":"2016-06-07T11:45:11","slug":"cdf-document-coming","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/praytellblog.com\/index.php\/2016\/06\/07\/cdf-document-coming\/","title":{"rendered":"CDF Document Coming"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Holy See <a href=\"http:\/\/press.vatican.va\/content\/salastampa\/it\/bollettino\/pubblico\/2016\/06\/07\/0409\/00945.html#fede\" target=\"_blank\">Press Office<\/a> announced today that the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith will release a letter on Tuesday, June 14, titled <em>Iuvenescit Ecclesia<\/em> (\u201cThe Church Grows Young\u201d). It will be addressed to the bishops of the Catholic Church, on the relationship between hierarchical and charismatic gifts for the life and mission of the church.<\/p>\n<p>It has been noted that there have been very few documents from the CDF or CDW under Pope Francis, so it is noteworthy that this document is appearing, even if it is addressed only to bishops. It will be interesting to see whether Pope Francis simply approves it for publication as a document of the congregation or approves it in his own name.<\/p>\n<p>At the press conference there will be addresses by Cardinal M\u00fcller (CDF prefect), Cardinal Ouellet (prefect of the Congregation for Bishops), Fr. Piero Coda of the International Theological Commission, and Professor Mar\u00eda del Carmen Aparicio Valls of the Gregorian University.
