{"id":2898,"date":"2010-07-03T15:22:27","date_gmt":"2010-07-03T20:22:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/praytellblog.com\/?p=2898"},"modified":"2011-06-11T23:40:51","modified_gmt":"2011-06-12T04:40:51","slug":"musical-previews","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/praytellblog.com\/index.php\/2010\/07\/03\/musical-previews\/","title":{"rendered":"Musical Previews"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To update a <a href=\"https:\/\/praytellblog.com\/index.php\/2010\/06\/24\/new-and-revised-mass-settings\/\" target=\"_blank\">previous post<\/a>:\u00a0there are now samples on the web of new and retro-fitted Mass settings from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.giamusic.com\/sacred_music\/info.cfm\" target=\"_blank\">GIA<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.singthenewmass.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">WLP<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocp.org\/newmasssettings\" target=\"_blank\">OCP<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I know it&#8217;s difficult to retro-fit, so I don&#8217;t envy the composers who had to do this. With all due respect to their efforts, I think their entirely new settings work better &#8211; pretty much across the board.
