Those interested in following the upcoming celebrations may download the booklet for free from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vatican.va\/news_services\/liturgy\/libretti\/2015\/20150112-19-messale_srilanka-filippine.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Vatican<\/a>. All readings, prayers, hymns and responses are included in the liturgical guide. Latin is the primary language of the Mass with religious and priests, while English and several filipino dialects are used in the other masses.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_28946\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-28946\" style=\"width: 276px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-28946\" src=\"https:\/\/praytellblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/BN.jpg\" alt=\"Religious icon of the Black Nazarene during the annual religious procession in Manila  \" width=\"276\" height=\"201\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-28946\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Religious icon of the Black Nazarene during the annual religious procession in Manila<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Liturgically speaking, there&#8217;s much to look forward to the next few days. The Philippines is well-known for colorful expressions of religious fervor as seen most recently in the annual procession of the Black Nazarene. And let&#8217;s not forget the giant (higantes) Pope Francis made out of paper march\u00e9 from last November&#8217;s Higantes festival (will giant Pope Francis make an appearance at the Apostolic visit?!)
