The 3 ranks of monsignor have now been further reduced to 1: &#8220;Chaplain to His Holiness.&#8221; But more importantly, only secular priests over 65 will be eligible for the title. This marks yet another attempt by Pope Francis to reduce the rampant careerism which exists among Catholic clergy today.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/praytellblog.com\/index.php\/2013\/09\/15\/monsignori-non-di-piu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Monsignori non di pi\u00f9?&#8221;
