But, it&#8217;s instances like this that makes a person wonder what he&#8217;s up to&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Photos from both Pope Francis&#8217; Mass for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.news.va\/en\/news\/pope-francis-celebrates-mass-of-the-annunciation\" target=\"_blank\">Feast of the Annunciation<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/media\/set\/?set=a.520628371334518.1073741899.171224532941572&amp;type=3\" target=\"_blank\">other Masses<\/a> at the Domus Sanctae Marthae chapel appear to show that the Pope has given the paten to one concelebrant and the chalice to the other for the Great Doxology.\u00a0 He is holding nothing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">What do you make of this? Is this a Pope who doesn\u2019t care much about little rules because he cares about the big picture &#8211; or is he perfectly aware of what he\u2019s doing and has his reasons for it? What lessons will we draw from a Pope who has his own way of celebrating the liturgy, not entirely faithful to every little detail of the missal and GIRM?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s a temptation on all sides to over-analyze every move that Pope Francis has made&#8230;
