It\u2019s an ambitious and impressive undertaking, headed up by Fr. Daniel McCarthy, OSB (monk of Atchison, KS) and Fr. James Leachman, OSB (Ealing Abbey). Lots of information on it <a href=\"http:\/\/liturgyinstitute.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The summer 2013 courses are based on the first semester licentiate curriculum of the Pontifical Institute of Liturgy in Rome, accredited by the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium. A whopping eight courses are announced: Liturgical Research Seminar, Liturgy in the West, Liturgical Spirituality, Liturgical Hermeneutics I, Eucharist in History, Intermediate Latin, Proficient Latin, and Seminar on the Eucharist.<\/p>\n<p>I like the subtitle of the institute a lot: \u201cFor a detailed and peaceful study of liturgy.\u201d Amen to that. May the institute flourish!
