Wadsworth of ICEL. Three points struck me:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There is a very frank acknowledgement of the many changes made by Vox Clara (though the article speaks more generally about these being done by CDW), and an acknowledgement that not all of these were improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Mgr. Wadsworth seems more bemused than troubled by the translation&#8217;s shortcoming. I find myself trying to cultivate a similar bemusement.<\/li>\n<li>Mgr. Wadsworth implies that revisions &#8212; I suspect principally of the priest&#8217;s parts &#8212; will be not too long in coming. Of course, as our second reading today reminds us, a thousand years are as a day in the sight of the Lord, so if the good\u00a0Monsignor is taking the God-eye perspective on this, then we might be waiting a long time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On the whole, an interesting interview.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Chant Cafe links an interview from The Tablet with Mgr.
