V. O Lord, save Elizabeth, our Queen.
\nR. And hear us on the day we call upon you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

V. O Lord, hear my prayer.
\nR. And let my cry come before you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

V. The Lord be with you.
\nR. And with your spirit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Almighty God, we pray,
\nthat your servant Elizabeth, our Queen,
\nwho, by your providence has received the governance of this realm,
\nmay continue to grow in every virtue,
\nthat, imbued with your heavenly grace,
\nshe may be preserved from all that is harmful and evil
\nand, being blessed with your favour
\nmay, with her consort and the royal family,
\ncome at last into your presence,
\nthrough Christ who is the way, the truth and the life
\nand who lives and reigns with you
\nin the unity of the Holy Spirit, God,
\nfor ever and ever.
\nAmen.<\/p>\n

The bishops of England and Wales have devised this prayer for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee to be read out at Masses on Trinity Sunday, June 3, 2012.<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/em><\/p>\n

During this Mass, the first reading is replaced by 1 Kings 3:11-14 and the Prayer for the Queen, which has been approved by the bishops, is used after the post-Communion prayer and before the final blessing.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
