{"id":10288,"date":"2011-06-30T14:43:45","date_gmt":"2011-06-30T19:43:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/praytellblog.com\/?p=10288"},"modified":"2011-07-06T11:56:44","modified_gmt":"2011-07-06T16:56:44","slug":"new-liturgical-music-institute-mcmillan-longley-birmingham-oratory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/praytellblog.com\/index.php\/2011\/06\/30\/new-liturgical-music-institute-mcmillan-longley-birmingham-oratory\/","title":{"rendered":"New Liturgical Music Institute &#8211; McMillan, Longley, Birmingham Oratory"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>The Blessed John Henry Newman Institute for Liturgical Music is a new venture by the Fathers of the Birmingham Oratory in association with the Maryvale Institute under the joint patronage of <strong>Archbishop Bernard Longley<\/strong> of Birmingham and <strong>James McMillan<\/strong>, the celebrated Catholic Composer.<\/div>\n<div><em> <\/em><\/div>\n<div>The purpose of the Institute is to provide a general formation in liturgical music, so that the Sunday liturgy in parishes may benefit from a doctrinal, liturgical and musical formation.
