In October, the Office of Worship in Phoenix, AZ\u00a0will be hosting an International Symposium on the liturgy in conjunction with the Department of Liturgy at the University of Vienna and the School of Liturgy at Mundelein Seminary in Chicago.\u00a0The conference will focus its attention on the American Interim Missal used between 1965 and 1970 and its impact on the development of the Novus Ordo.\u00a0Related topics include:\u00a0the historical development of the liturgy after the Council, the new Lectionary; towards an Anglican ritual; Propers of the Mass since the Council; and the development of sacred Architecture.<\/p>\n

The Conference begins at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 3rd<\/sup> through Noon on Tuesday, October 4, 2011.\u00a0 Registration is $135.00\/persona including meals, receptions and materials.<\/p>\n
