Saint John’s is excited to welcome Dr. Kimberly Baker of Saint Meinrad School of Theology to campus this summer for a week-long seminar on preaching with the Church Fathers!
This 1-credit course takes place on the mornings between June 15-19, 2026.
In this course, Dr. Baker will explore the powerful preaching that comes to us from the Patristic era, including preachers such as Augustine of Hippo and John Chrysostom. Students will also have opportunity for practical experience, trying out some of the rhetorical practices for our own preaching and teaching.
