This summer, Saint Meinrad will host a workshop on the history and theory of chant. Designed for directors of liturgical music and singers who are new to chant, the week-long workshop will include daily rehearsals and opportunities to participate in the Archabbey’s daily liturgies.
Presenters include Br. John Glasenapp, OSB, Br. Joel Blaize, OSB, and Dr. Charles Weaver from The Julliard School.

This workshop follows on a number of events hosted by The Saint Meinrad Institute for Sacred Music, including a previous workshop focused on “Praying with Chant,” held between January 12-16, 2026.
