Give Us This Day provides a resource not only for prayer and lectio, but for contemplative and compelling Christian art. Saint John’s Abbey monk and publisher of Give Us This Day, Br. Ælred Senna, offers a series in which he shares insights into the images adorning Give Us This Day’s cover.
This month’s edition features Healed and Thankful by Melani Pyke. Pyke’s image presents the viewer with Christ’s embrace of the “thankful leper,” as he is sometimes known.
