Public Lecture: All Creation Sings Your Praises

By Editor, September 30, 2025

Join Yale Institute of Sacred Music this October 7, at 2:45-3:45 Eastern for this year’s annual Kavanagh Lecture with Teresa Berger, Professor Emerita of Liturgical Studies and the Thomas E. Golden Jr. Professor Emerita of Catholic Theology at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music and Yale Divinity School.

The event is free and open to the public with a livestream available.

Berger will focus on how “all creation sings,” an ancient motif that aligns in surprising ways with contemporary scientific discoveries. Berger will consider this motif’s appearance (and disappearance) in liturgical texts, and how we might hear creation singing in the midst of unprecedented ecological devastation.
