The Vatican will host a two-day seminar on “Creation, Nature, Environment for World Peace,” starting tomorrow, at the Casina Pio IV in Vatican City.
The seminar will focus on the Church’s call to its entire congregation, along with all “people of goodwill,” to establish and maintain active engagement in discerning our role in being peacemakers and stewards of our shared planet.
Key sources of inspiration for the seminar include: the Message of Pope Leo XIV for the 10th World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation (2025), Pope Francis’ Laudato si‘, Pope Benedict XVI’s comments on human ecology, Pope John Paul II’s Redemptor Hominis and St. Francis of Assisi’s Canticle of the Creatures.
