The Vigil of Palm Sunday is this Saturday, April 12, 7:00pm Central. You are welcome to join Saint John’s to begin your Holy Week in a special and inspirational way.
The vigil prayer service features a lovely musical composition of the late Fr. Jerome Coller, OSB. Comprised of chant and organ music, the approximately one-half-hour service reflects on the solemn message of the Palm Sunday liturgy. Livestream is available here.
Following the vigil, all are invited to join the monks for a light reception in the Great Hall.
No RSVP is required. As you arrive in advance of the 7:00 p.m. service, ushers will be inside the abbey church to provide seating directions. We hope you can join us this Saturday evening, April 12, for the lovely liturgy and the opportunity to start your Holy Week with friends.
Palm Sunday Mass takes place on Sunday, April 13, at 10:30am Central.
